Our Classes

Regular evening mosaic classes are run by mosaic artist and tutor, Helen Goodman at various locations on the Island. Daytime workshops are occasionally offered at weekends which give enough time to complete a small project such as a house number.

The informal classes are small and friendly and suit beginners and experienced mosaicists alike as students work individually on their own mosaics. Popular first projects are coasters, mirror or picture frames, house numbers and small plaques.

Mosaic-making materials are varied and students are encouraged to start with the small glass mosaic tiles then progress to ceramic tiles, broken china and found objects. Class members are sometimes given the opportunity to work on group projects and community mosaics.
